As an EOB Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of insurance claims, maximizing reimbursement, and minimizing claim denials.

Responsibilities:
Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits documents received from insurance carriers Accurately enter EOB data into the practice management system; Dentrix.
Resolve any denials to ensure we receive payment for services rendered Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, ensuring prompt resolution Currently have and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of dental coding and insurance billing regulations Following up with patients when necessary regarding insurance coverage and payment obligations based on the EOB received to make sure all payments are properly allocated and patient accounts are accurate
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in dental insurance billing and claims processing Proficient in dental coding Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, policies, and procedures Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficient in dental practice management software (e.
